Our Competition Obedience FUNdamentals program teaches the foundation imprinting and skills needed to achieve beautiful, precise obedience in and out of the competition ring. We will emphasize the correct use of motivation, clear communication, the use of luring and shaping skills, and most of all the power of the relationship between dog and handler. All foundation exercises are taught through the use of fun, motivational games.

*We are balanced trainers, so all of our training is balanced. This class does implement the use of correction, where and when needed.

- Stand for Exam

Location: Nose to the Grind Headquarters
Dates: Nov 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, and Dec 1
Sunday: 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Limit: 8 dogs
*Nov 10th class will be evaluations, lecture, and demo.

Tools needed:

- Flat collar
- regular 6 ft leash
- corrective collar, if needed (we support the correct use of all training tools)
- Clicker (Optional but recommended)
- Treat bag with high value treats (make sure your dog is hungry!)
- Motivational Toy (Tug or ball preferred)
- Target
- Retrieve item (Dumbbell, PVC pipe etc)
